Last night (June 28), Ariana Grande headlined New York Pride’s Dance on the Pier. During her set she expertly blended Whitney Houston’s “I’m Every Woman” with Madonna’s “Vogue”.

The crowd of about 10,000 seemed excited enough to hear Grande sing the dramatic opening minutes of Houston’s “I’m Every Woman,” the Chaka Khan cover she recorded for 1992’s The Bodyguard. Then the “Vogue” beat kicked in, which had her and her backup dancers striking poses and looking fierce.
